Queen's Quay Terminal

Queen's Quay Terminal is a condominium apartment and shopping mall complex in Toronto, Canada. The building was a cold storage warehouse facility, the Toronto Terminal Warehouse, built in 1926 by Moores & Dunford (NYC) and converted to a condo/mall complex in 1983. The southwest section was demolished and forms the south end of the parking lot between Queen's Quay Terminal and the EnWave PowerPlant. The renovations by Zeidler Roberts added four floors to the original 10 floor structure, for a total of of space. ''The New York Times'' mentioned it as an example of successful revitalization efforts in Toronto during the 1980s.
The Art Deco facility houses a shopping mall that includes a Sobeys grocery store. It is also home to the Premiere Dance Theatre and the Museum of Inuit Art.
Yahoo! Canada and Anheuser-Busch InBev's Canadian unit Labatt both maintain offices in the building.
It is owned by Brookfield Properties〔(【引用サイトリンク】title=Brookfield Properties 2nd Quarter Report )〕 and was developed by Olympia and York.
An abandoned cold storage facility in Albany, New York (Central Warehouse Cold Storage at Montgomery and Colonie Streets) was built in 1927 to a design identical to the original Toronto Terminal Warehouse building.
